People are being advised to get their skates on if they wish to take advantage of a savings accounts deal on offer from Alliance & Leicester.
Those looking to take advantage of an Alliance & Leicester savings account need to act quickly, the bank urges.With the Alliance & Leicester Premier Regular Saver offering an interest rate of seven per cent, the financial services provider states that the savings account could be of particular use to those looking to set money aside on a regular basis as it offers fixed monthly payments of between £10 and £250.
However, those wishing to take advantage of the saving account are reminded it is only available to those switching to the Alliance & Leicester Premier Current Account, with such an offer ending this weekend.
"For those who are looking for a good deal to make their money stretch further with a high interest rate, Alliance & Leicester's Premier Current Account with its linked Premier Regular Saver is a must-have, but you have to be quick," Gillian Almond, current accounts manager for Alliance & Leicester, points out.
The bank also states that the current account comes with a 0% overdraft for the first 12 months and free annual multi-trip European travel insurance.
People on the search for a bank account may also wish to hear that interest on the Alliance & Leicester Premier Direct Current Account was raised early this week as it now offers a six per cent rate of return.
