A new overdraft structure is set to be introduced on Lloyds TSB current accounts.
Lloyds TSB is set to introduce a new overdraft free structure to its personal and existing
current account customers.
The measures will take place on December 2nd and anyone who uses an unplanned overdraft should end up paying less than they currently do.
Lloyds current account customers who used either planned and unplanned overdrafts will have a fee and interest-free buffer zone of £10, while they will be charged £5 for using either of the options.
Mike Regnier, personal current account director at the organisation, said the improvements are aimed to give customers a "significant" reduction in fees.
He added: "Almost 70 per cent of customers who use an unplanned overdraft will pay less than half what they currently pay."
Those with
current accounts could use the new Metro Bank which is set to open in Holborn, London on July 29th and will feature debit and
credit cards being issued within 15 minutes at the facility.
