Parents may need debt advice following the recession.
Parents feeling the pressure due to issues such as
credit card debt must not be afraid to seek professional counsel on how they can get their finances back on track.
That is the advice offered by Mark Bower, managing director of online resource Money Maxim, who urged people to swallow their pride and get tips from experts on how they can re-organise their budgets.
Following the global economic downturn, many families have found their finances being stretched by factors such as high inflation and the rising cost of
gas and electric.
However, Mr Bower insisted there is assistance available for anyone who wants it and he added that it would be "unwise" for individuals to "rely on the state to bolster their situation" at present.
"We would urge them to seek advice on what help is out there now using the Directgov website," the specialist continued.
This comes after another financier - Fidelity - recently revealed its intention to get involved in the junior
ISA market later this year.
