RBS and the Post Office have revealed an agreement that will allow people to withdraw cash more easily.
RBS current account holders are set to benefit from a new scheme allowing them to take out cash at Post Offices.
As of today (September 23rd), some 19 million
bank account holders with the financier and its other brands will be able to access over-the-counter withdrawals at any Post Office branch across Britain.
Therefore,
NatWest current account customers and those with an association to Ulster Bank will also be able to take advantage of this initiative, which has been designed to make sure individuals can access their money more easily.
Any such transactions will not be subject to charges and this development means that around 80 per cent of people with a debit card can now take out funds at the Post Office.
This comes after the Payments Council Board last week (September 15th) unveiled changes to make it simpler for individuals to switch their ban account in future.
