The new Android app for RBS & NatWest is released today.
Android phone users in the UK will be able to download the RBS & NatWest Mobile Banking application to manage their bank accounts.
With apps already readily available for the iPhone, iPad and Blackberry, which, the bank states, have are used by hundreds of thousands of customers, work has gone into providing Android users with an app specifically designed for those devices.
Customers with an Android phone who download the app will be able to see all accounts held with either RBS or NatWest, check their balance, and also view a mini-statement, containing the last 6 transactions for customers' accounts.
Managing Director of Consumer Distribution at NatWest, Satyendra Chelvendra, noted that:
"Our customers want to be able to bank whichever way they choose, and for many that's through their mobile phone. Our new Android app means that now even more of our customers can benefit from the convenience and simplicity of mobile banking".
