Those Brits determined to go on a summer break this year may find that one particular credit card can prove to be of assistance, it has been reported.
By making use of a
Virgin Credit Card, holidaymakers could find that they can go abroad for a much more competitive price.
In a Guardian article, the
credit card provider reveals that those signing up for a Virgin Credit Card will be able to get a discount when purchasing cover from Virgin Travel Insurance.
And as well as getting ten per cent off the price of travel insurance, the financial services provider states that those using a Virgin Credit Card will also be able to receive an exclusive discount on the cost of a Virgin Holidays vacation.
"With destinations as diverse as St Lucia, Hong Kong, Cape Town, Orlando, Sydney and Dubai, no corner of the globe is left uncharted so you're sure to find a break that ticks all the right boxes," the firm points out.
And while consumers may want to use a credit card - particularly one that offers
0% purchases - to pay for a break, it could also be advisable to pack one into a suitcase.
Recent research by
Abbey Credit Cards revealed 39 per cent of people claim they could not do without their credit card while away on holiday.
