Tesco offering home insurance discount

Tesco is offering a 25 per cent discount to all new home insurance customers who apply online.

In addition, existing Tesco Car Insurance customers will be entitled to a further five per cent discount, totalling 30 per cent off building and contents insurance.

Customers who book over the phone instead of online are still entitled to a 20 per cent discount.

All customers who purchase a policy between 5th October 2005 and the 30th November 2005 will also benefit from an additional 1,000 Clubcard points.

With temperatures set to be the coldest in ten years this winter, homeowners are being advised to ensure they have appropriate building and contents cover.
