LV= launches new direct life cover

LV= has introduced a new product to help customers get cheap life insurance quickly online

LV= has announced the launch of its new direct life cover for those looking for a cost-effective life policy insurance which will provide for their family in the event of their death.

The new life cover application is designed to allow most people to be covered online immediately in a quick, simple and straightforward process.

Customers must first tailor their annual insurance cover and they will then get a quote in less than two minutes.

They are then required to complete the rest of the application, with UK-based service agents on the telephone ready to help when needed.

Mark Jones, LV='s head of protection, said that single insurance does not have to be expensive or difficult to get.

"Life cover doesn't have to be complex or expensive and we know that there are thousands of people who want a simple, easy to understand life insurance product that's going to pay out should the worst happen to them," he added.

Fellow insurer Zurich Life recently announced that it is to expand the eligibility of its life insurance and critical illness cover in order to allow older customers to take advantage of its offers.
