esure has today (June 2nd) published a guide for the thousands of Brits heading to the World Cup in South Africa over the coming weeks.
With just ten days remaining until England kick off their tournament against the US in Rustenburg, the company is concerned that the thousands of supporters planning to make
single trip travel to the southern hemisphere could end up missing the action due to avoidable errors of judgment.
Research by esure indicates that 26 per cent of people do not bother to make sure whether or not they require documentation or a visa to enter a foreign country, while 15 per cent never check whether their passport is valid prior to leaving home.
Meanwhile, 20 per cent of the fans polled without
annual insurance said that they were not planning on taking out
single trip insurance for their time in South Africa before flying from the UK.
esure's main tips for fans to enjoy a safe visit to Africa in the summer include buying
travel insurance and planning ahead with regards to changing currency.
