Defaqto has introduced a new research tool to enable car insurance providers to gauge what is required in the market.
Defaqto has today (June 9th) launched a new research tool to help
car insurance companies to compare how appealing specific product features are to consumers.
The new product is intended to allow
annual insurance businesses the chance to fine-tune their packages to meet the requirements and demands of their target market through filtering its results by gender, age, claims history and affluence.
It will also allow them to propose and review product changes more effectively, manage their product lifecycle, optimise their package design and development and identify existing features that are not valued or commonly used by current customers.
Brian Brown, head of research at Defaqto, said: "Research was conducted across 5,000 consumers asking them to rate which features of motor insurance were most important."
He added that this study has enabled the organisation to gain a clear picture of the wants and needs of the contemporary
British insurance sector.
Meanwhile, people planning to drive to their holiday destinations in Europe this summer were recently urged by experts to ensure their vehicle is covered outside of the UK.
