A best car insurance award has been won by NFU Mutual for the fifth consecutive year.
NFU Mutual has picked up the award for best
car insurance, voted for by readers of Auto Express, for the fifth year in a row.
The company has since broken a record in that since the start of the survey no other organisation has come out on top for such a lengthy time.
Paul Richardson, car insurance specialist at NFU Mutual, said he was delighted that the business had won because that survey is used as a benchmark all across the industry.
He added: "Winning for the fifth year running reinforces our aim to provide our customers with the extent of cover they need, at a fair price and with first class service."
Customers - which could include those who have purchased
insurance for young drivers or
breakdown car cover - noted NFU had been "very helpful", among other comments.
This news comes after Simon Douglas, director of AA Insurance, noted that the proposed insurance premium tax rise will not please motorists looking to buy cover.
