Nationwide has extended its free travel insurance offer to more of its current account holders.

Nationwide current account holders can now take advantage of their financier's free
travel insurance offer, it has emerged.
As part of its
bank account benefits, the financier has offered new customers aged up to 65 - and existing customers up to 75-years-old - free
annual insurance cover as a bonus for their loyalty.
However, from today (September 21st), this is being extended to also include all newcomers to the company aged up to 75.
Graham Pilkington, director of consumer finance at Nationwide, observed that this solidifies his firm's commitment to give consumers an "unbeatable package of benefits".
He added this latest addition to their range of benefits will mean over-65s can avoid paying "significantly more" for travel cover than other people simply by having a Nationwide current account.
Research published yesterday by the Post Office suggested travel insurance may be important for older people, as 25 per cent of over-55s are thinking about going on a gap year in the next 24 months.
