Nationwide currently offer a variety of benefits with the Nationwide its credit cards.  They offer up to 56 interest free days, and in some cases free purchase cover for theft, loss, or damage to most purchases over fifty pounds. You can also benefit from peace of mind with Nationwide Fraud Watch.

Nationwide cards are most suited to those aged 25 or over, earning an annual income of at least £25,000, with an excellent credit history. If you have a Nationwide bank account you can also access exclusive card offers only available to banking customers.

Approval Criteria
  • You and any other card holders are over the age of 18;
  • You have been living in the UK for the last 12 months (includes BFPO addresses but excludes the IOM and Channel Islands);
  • You have a gross income each year of more than £5000;
  • You are not currently bankrupt, subject to an Individual Voluntary Agreement (IVA) and you don’t have any County Court Judgements (CCJs);
  • You have not missed 3 or more payments on any credit commitments in the last 12 months; and
  • You have not been rejected for a Nationwide Credit Card in the last 6 months.
