National Westminster Bank Plc, or NatWest as it is known to many, is a commercial bank operating in the UK. It was established in 1968 following the merger of Westminster Bank and National Provincial Bank, and is now regarded as one of the four main clearing banks.

 

In 2000 NatWest became part of The Royal Bank of Scotland Group Plc.
