Details of a price cut on a mobile broadband tariff have been unveiled by O2.
Britons searching out
broadband best deals may be interested to hear O2 has slashed prices on one of its mobile broadband deals.
Moves by the telecoms giant have seen it reduce the one-off fee for its pay-as-you-go USB dongle from £29 to £20.
Such a device offers internet access speeds of up to 3.6Mb and no contract or fixed-term deal is required, something that may be a consideration for those keen on getting
top broadband services.
After making this payment, consumers can pay either £2 per day to access the internet, or shell out £7.50 upfront for a week's connection.
Paying £15 will see users be able to get online for 30 days, a figure those wishing to
compare providers to ensure they are getting the most for their money might want to take into account.
Earlier this month, business secretary Lord Mandelson revealed the government is investing millions of pounds into providing rural and isolated communities with super-fast broadband access.
