From March, broadband customers with the provider will also be able to make use of a bundled package, allowing them to access the internet and make calls under a single deal.
The Evening & Weekend tariff provides O2 Home Broadband customers with unlimited calls to UK homes on evenings and weekends.
People wishing to
compare providers may also want to go for the Anytime deal which offers unlimited calls to 0845 and 0870 numbers and landlines in the UK and more than 20 international countries at any time.
"This is the most important launch for us in the home space since we entered the broadband market and is part of our strategy to evolve beyond mobile to a leading connectivity brand ," Sally Cowdry, UK marketing director at O2, states.
