Broadband, Phones & TV News BT launches business broadband service BT launches business broadband service
Details of a new broadband service have been unveiled by BT.
While firms may currently be searching for competitive business accounts, news of a new broadband service from BT could also be of interest.Moves by the telecoms firm have seen it launch BT Business Total Broadband Fibre, offering organisations download speeds of up to 40Mb per second.
Firms seeking broadband best deals may also want to note that high-definition video conferencing and business-grade cloud applications can be run simultaneously.
Nigel Stagg, managing director for BT Business, points out that the service looks to offer the "best possible online experience".
He adds that just over a quarter (28 per cent) of businesses are using faster broadband "to expand their website capabilities and another 25 per cent are using it to drive more processes online and employ more bandwidth-hungry technology".
Those searching for top broadband deals may also wish to note recent figures from TalkTalk which showed 36,000 people signed up to its service between July and September 2009.
