Top broadband packages are in demand at Virgin Media.
Newly-released figures from Virgin Media have shown that there is a rising demand for its
top broadband packages.
According to the company, almost five million people are now connected up to its services.
It explained that over the course of 2010, the number of subscribers to its home phone, mobile,
TV and broadband packages rose by more than 75,000.
Neil Berkett, chief executive officer of Virgin Media, stated that 2010 was a year of "great achievement" for the brand.
"We have driven our consumer division to its highest ever rate of revenue growth, maintained robust cost control and delivered our best ever financial year," he said.
Mr Berkett added that the
broadband best deals it is set to unveil during the course of 2011 could mean this year is an even better one for the company.
Earlier this month, the firm revealed that it has launched a new 30Mb broadband service, which will replace the existing 20Mb speed it provides consumers.
